| Describes | The Impact Score and match methods, and the discovery ordering, in force on the effective date |
1. Why this notice exists
This notice explains, in plain language, the main parameters that decide how Creators are ordered when a Brand searches, how a Creator is matched to a Campaign, and how an Impact Score is formed, and which of them count the most. It is published to give Users the means to understand decisions that affect them.
2. Three things that are kept apart
| Thing | What it answers | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| Impact Score | How strong is this Creator within one niche | 0 to 10, always shown with its niche and version. |
| Match score | How well does this Creator fit one particular Campaign | 0 to 100, with reasons and concerns |
| Discovery order | In what order are Creators listed in a Brand's search | The order of a list, explained in section 3 |
A match score is deliberately on a different scale from an Impact Score so that they are not mistaken for each other.
3. Discovery order
3.1 Only Creators with a current Impact Score are listed. No Creator is given an invented score.
3.2 By default, Creators are ordered by their current Impact Score, highest first. When a Brand selects a niche, the score in that niche is used. Otherwise each Creator's strongest current score is used.
3.3 A Brand may instead order the list by audience size.
3.4 Ties are broken in a fixed order so that the same search gives the same order each time.
3.5 A Brand may narrow the list with filters such as niche, platform, audience size and verification status.
3.6 No Brand, Creator or other person can pay for position in any list, and the Platform has no sponsored listing.
4. How an Impact Score is formed
An Impact Score is calculated for one niche at a time from the data a Creator's connected account provides. Its main parameters are:
| Parameter | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Engagement quality | How much the audience that sees the content engages with it |
| Reach | The size of the audience the content reaches |
| Niche relevance | How well the Creator's content fits the niche they selected, as assessed by the Company |
| Content performance | How well the Creator's content performs with its audience |
| Consistency | How stable the Creator's audience is over time |
4.2 Engagement quality and reach count the most. The numeric weights are not published. They are kept private to reduce the risk that a Creator is tempted to manipulate one input, and to protect the integrity of the scores for everyone.
4.3 Where there is too little data to judge a parameter reliably, that parameter counts as average until more data is available. This is neither a reward nor a penalty.
4.4 Each score carries the version of the method that produced it. A change to the method is a new version, and scores made under earlier versions are not rewritten.
5. How a match score is formed
A match score compares a Creator with one Campaign's stated requirements. Only Creators with a current Impact Score are matched. Its main parameters are how well the Creator's niches fit the Campaign's target niches, which counts the most, the Creator's engagement quality and content performance, the size of their audience, their integrity and eligibility on the Platform, and, where the Campaign states a preference, how well the Creator's audience or stated languages fit it.
5.2 A preference the Campaign does not state, or that has no data, is left out and neither helps nor harms a Creator.
5.3 Audience fit reads aggregate audience data only, never data about an individual.
5.4 A Brand does not see the numeric weights. Each result shows reasons, concerns, a confidence level and the data's age.
6. What does not affect ranking or matching
Payment or any commercial relationship with the Company. The Brand's identity. The Creator's gender, age, religion, caste or other personal characteristics, which the Platform does not hold.
7. Differentiated treatment
7.1 The following apply to all Creators alike but treat Creators differently depending on their circumstances.
- A Creator without a current Impact Score is not listed in a Brand's search.
- A Creator must meet the Platform's eligibility conditions, including the verification it requires, before applying to a Campaign.
- The number of Creators a Brand may invite to a Campaign is limited.
- An administrator may suspend or end an Account, an Agreement or a Pass for the reasons in the Terms of Use.
- A Creator who has completed partnerships with a verified Pass builds a reputation record that Brands can see in summary.
7.2 Any other differentiated treatment will be added to this notice before it is applied.
8. Your rights
A Creator or a Brand who believes a score, a flag, a match or an order of listing is wrong may ask for a human review under the Grievance and Data Rights Policy Part A, and may ask for correction of inaccurate data under Part C. We give reasons for our decision.
